OUR SUPPORTED MISSIONARIES:

THE OLMEDO FAMILY - David, Sheryl, Elizabeth, Samual, Israel, and David.  David and Sheryl have been serving in Spain for 20 years.  Sheryl was born and raised in Sunfield, Michigan; David is a native of Spain.  They have a church in a small costal town of Nerja.  Sunday services are conducted in both English and Spanish in order to witness to the many foreign visitors that come to their village.  They also have a powerful intercessary prayer.

THE HENDRICKS FAMILY - Troy, Julie, Hannah, and Ethan.  Troy and Julie have been serving in Spain for four years and are ministering to the Spanish people through English classes and Bible studies.  They are using many opportunities to reach the people for God, such as entertaining neighbors, their children's friends from school, or coaching a basketball team.  They are also assisting in starting a new church.

THE BECKERS - Carlson and Naomi are in Macau as fulltime missionaries with the English Language Program.  They will be in Macau for three years teaching two classes on Tuesday and Thursday as well as leading two Bible studies.  They are also involved in local churches and helped with starting The New Living Stone Church, which started in February, 2006 at the center where they teach.

ANNA GEIVETT - Anna is our newest support.  She is in the process of raising support to go to Lima, Peru with an organization called Food for the Hungry as a Teams Coordinator.  As a Teams Coordinator, it will be her responsibility to direct and coordinate the general program of short-term teams in Lima, including the selections of future projects and the development of budgets and schedules.

Besides helping to support the above missionaries, we are sponsoring a feeding program in the village of La Ova in Honduras.  There are very few job opportunites for the fathers, so the church is trying to feed the children at least one meal a day.  We call this program Change for a Change.  Every Sunday morning as the people arrive at church, they drop all their change in a "house" that was built by one of the members.  At the end of each month, the money is collected and sent on to the Honduras.  The VBS offering was also given to this program to help feed the kids.
