Mission Statement:
To emphasize Jesus’ Great Commission, found in Matthew 28:l8-20, throughout our entire congregation at Kilpatrick Church.  To teach, train, and energize our constituents of the excitement of sharing the gospel message and their testimony with people outside our church family.  To highlight the fact that God is extremely interested and loves lost people, and therefore, we can do no less. 

Team Description - Our Evangelism team consists of our pastor, Darrel Bosworth, Josie Hicks, and chairperson George Speas.  Please direct any questions to our chairperson George.

Opportunities:

“Conspiracy of Kindness” – this is where you show Jesus’ love for someone without taking any credit for it.  Some examples would be giving items (pop, cookies, etc.) and/or giving service (wash cars, rake leaves, etc.) for people to show God’s love.  The cool thing about doing a Conspiracy of Kindness is that you can do it anytime anywhere, and it is always meaningful.

Classes: We are available to help train in periodic classes throughout the year in soul winning (join us and learn how easy it is to become a soul winner in a variety of ways.)

Referrals: We look for referrals from the congregation regarding those who need Salvation.

VBS: You may also help evangelism emphasis at Vacation Bible School time.

Every Day:  One of our team’s goals is for each person in the congregation to make evangelism a part of their every day life by being witnesses of their own faith stories.
