From Nancy Carpenter:

I have a board member Wesley whose wife Meagen has been very ill near death. The doctors can not find out what's wrong. Her brain has been sending mixed signals to her nervous system and organs which results in major no stop pain. Sometimes it causes her major organs to begin to shut down from all the mixed signals. Meagan has been restricted to bed rest and no stress, which is not easy for a mom of a 1 and 3 year old little boys. She has once again been admitted to the hospital.

The doctors have run numerous tests over the last 2 months and they can't pinpoint anything specific.

Pray for healing and relief from this awful pain and sleepless days. And for God to give wisdom, guidance and direction to the doctors and to Wes and Meagan. Pray for Wesley and the babies. And his and Meagan's parents who have been taking care of the whole family 24/7. This has been such a drain on the whole family and on Wes's family business. This is a young family who loves the Lord who needs us to up lift them in our prayers.

Thank you.

Meagan is home now, but she's not out of the woods yet. She will have to go to either the Mayo Clinic or the Cleveland Clinic to find the source of her problem and the cure for it. Please continue to pray for this young family and the grandparents who are sharing the burden. Thanks.

Well, we are in month four going on five months. I talked to Wesley Thursday at our Board meeting. Meagan has been diagnosed with chemical poisoning. They believe the chemicals came from a local farm.

She is now in the care and treatment of a doctor of toxology now in a Nashville,Tenn hospital. Her liver is not working correctly to help filter the toxins out of her body and it is effecting many organs and her lympth nodes is of great concern too. It is a very long, slow and involved process to get the chemicals out of her through her skin and pores.

Wes must now start the process of taking water samples and soil samples to see if the can narrow down exactly where the contamination came from.

Believe it or not this diagnois s a praise. They now know what she has and can work from there. Before they were just treating her for the pain and keeping her alive.

Pray that this new treatment is a success and that this young mom can be restored to health. This is wearing on her husband Wes and their very young family. Pray also that the family especially for the babies (1year old and 3year old)that these chemicals have not affected and will not affect them all. Pray for renewed strength for Wes and both sets of parents and friends as they help with child care.

Wes also thanks my church family for their prayer support. Prayer and faith in God is staining them.

Thank you.

Nancy

Answer to prayer.
Megean called me a couple of weeks ago. (In my absent-mindedness I forgot to tell you all.) She called to say that she is improving though it has been a very very long slow process and difficult process. Her call was an answer to prayer in itself. She thanked all of us for the prayers and explained how God has worked through this most difficult time in her life and her family's.

God placed her in the caring hands of Christian doctors and staff in Nashville, Tenn who pray before every procedure. How she got to this clinic was a miracle too. Had Megean continued with her original diagnois and treatments in Michigan she would have gone throw numerous surgeries and would have died within another few months. She is only 25 with two very small children.

Much prayer is still needed till Megean can regain her full active life and assume her role again as wife and mom.

Thank you.
