Pastor Darrel came to Kilpatrick in June of 2002.  He and his wife, Barbara, have been long-time residents of the Lakewood community having graduated from Lakewood High School in 1968-69.  Pastoral Ministry is Pastor Darrel’s second career having worked for General Motors in Lansing for 31 years and retiring in 2001.  He began his ministry in 1999 as the Associate Pastor for Sunfield United Brethren Church while still working at General Motors.  His educational pursuits include a degree in Leadership and Ethics from Great Lakes Christian College in Lansing, Michigan, and a degree in Pastoral Ministry from the Graduate School of Christian Ministry at Huntington University in Indiana.  He and Barb have four children and seven grandchildren.
